Creating art rooted in nature
For me, art isn’t just something I do—it’s how I experience the world. It’s how I process, heal, grow, and celebrate life. When I pick up a brush, camera, or carving tool, I’m not just creating a piece of art. I’m capturing a feeling, a moment, a fragment of beauty that might otherwise go unnoticed.
I’ve always been deeply inspired by nature—its colors, textures, and rhythms. A simple walk outside can spark an idea that turns into a painting, a photograph, or a mixed-media piece. I don’t limit myself to one medium because creativity isn’t meant to live in a box. Some days it looks like a vivid canvas, other days a hand-carved sculpture, and sometimes it’s the quiet click of a camera shutter.
Art, to me, is about freedom. It’s about following inspiration wherever it leads and letting each piece evolve naturally—alive, imperfect, and full of story.

My Journey
I grew up in the suburbs of the Twin Cities in Minnesota, where my love for creativity first began. Over the years, I’ve moved from Minnesota to Arizona, to Raleigh, NC, and near the North Carolina coastline—and now, my family and I have settled into the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, near the beauty of North Carolina. My husband and two fur babies are always looking for the next adventure!
Everywhere we’ve lived, we’ve embraced what makes each place unique—the nature, the food, the art scene, the people. Whether it’s the hustle of a big city or the charm of a small town, I’ve found inspiration in every corner.
Along the way, I earned a BA in Marketing from Concordia University and a BA in Writing from Metropolitan State University. Both degrees shaped how I tell stories through art and connect with people—because at the heart of it all, art is storytelling.
My art is rooted in life experiences—moments and seasons that have shaped how I see the world. Before fully embracing creativity, I worked as a foster care social worker, walking alongside children and families through some of their hardest, most heartbreaking times. It was deeply meaningful and taught me resilience, compassion, and the power of simply showing up.
I’ve also worked in HR and hospitality, both centered on connection and creating spaces where people feel seen and valued. Looking back, every path I’ve taken has been about giving back, teaching, and creating meaningful experiences.
Now, I serve through art—crafting pieces that bring comfort, spark joy, and reflect the shared beauty of being human.

Why I Create
I’m a big advocate for mental health awareness and breaking the stigma that surrounds it. I’ve faced my own struggles with anxiety and depression, and while those battles come and go, art has always been my safe space.
Growing is hard.
Words can be hard.
But art? Art flows freely.
It gives me a way to work through emotions, to heal, and to share that healing with others. My hope is that when you experience my work, you feel a little more grounded, a little more connected, and a lot more inspired to see the beauty in your own life.

Let’s Be Friends
Whether you’re here to collect your very first original piece, capture memories through photography, or dream up a custom creation, I’m honored to be part of that journey.
Art isn’t just something you hang on your wall—it’s something you feel every time you see it. It should spark joy, tell a story, and remind you to slow down and savor the little things.
So grab a cup of coffee, wander around my site, and let’s get to know each other. If something speaks to your heart, I hope you’ll take it home and make it part of your story.
I’m glad you’re here.
Let’s create something beautiful together.
