Anxiety has a way of making even the calmest moments feel loud. When I created Colors of Unspoken, I was trying to paint the exact moment where noise becomes stillness — not because everything is fixed, but because I finally gave myself permission to pause.
For years, I hid my anxiety behind a smile and a fast pace. I thought slowing down meant I was failing. But the truth is, slowness saved me. The gentle bleed of watercolor across paper mirrors the way I’ve learned to breathe again: soft, imperfect, and enough.
Some days are still heavy. But I’ve learned that moments of quiet can exist inside chaos, and that art lets me find them.
